A recognized industry expert is being added to a growing team that assists AEI’s clients with their commercial real estate acquisitions by providing equity level property condition assessments and reporting to individual and institutional investment firms, nationwide.
Walnut Creek, Calif. – AEI Consultants, an industry leader in environmental and building consulting services, is expanding its equity assessment services division with the appointment of an expert with extensive experience in providing equity level assessments and reporting for both buyers and sellers. The move comes as the company responds to increasing demand from individual investors, investment groups and property owners, which compliments AEI’s full suite of professional services, which includes Phase I environmental site assessments, construction risk management, energy-efficiency audits, zoning reports, site characterization and remediation services, compliance and industrial hygiene.
William D. Horner has been appointed to be the National Lead to manage AEI’s Equity Services division and will be based out of AEI’s Sacramento office. He will lead AEI’s team of seasoned professionals. AEI’s Equity Services division is charged with creating detailed assessments on all asset types as part of a broader acquisition team.
Horner has 30 years in the real estate due diligence and construction management industry. He has personally performed over 2,500 PCAs on properties that include multi-family dwellings, retail sites, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, boutique hotels and major resorts. He has provided senior review services and client management services for lenders, and commercial real estate investment groups throughout the United States.
