Brownfield Services

Properties that become abandoned or underused due to suspected contamination are commonly referred to as “Brownfields.”

Brownfields often contain contaminants from prior operations that limit redevelopment of the property. AEI works with commercial and industrial property owners and developers to identify potential legal responsibilities and integrate appropriate remedial measures for Brownfield sites. AEI provides a full range of services including due diligence (Phase I and Phase II Assessments) and, when needed, pollution characterization as well as the evaluation and implementation of mitigation and remediation methods.

In addition to the previously discussed environmental investigation and management services, AEI can provide the following:
