Emily serves as the technical lead for AEI’s Zoning consulting services. She is responsible for providing direction for the development and growth of AEI’s Zoning Division, overseeing all day-to-day operations, hiring new staff members, and implementing new SOPs. Ms. Currie has seven (7) years of zoning consulting experience, and provides quality control and assurance for zoning services to ensure compliance with industry standards and client satisfaction. As a technical lead, Emily supports AEI’s business development team, and creates new service lines tailored to clients’ needs, and acts as a liaison between clients, the business development team and the technical staff.
Ms. Currie’s scope of project-related work includes zoning and environmental consulting services for real estate due diligence for private and agency lenders as well as equity clients. Since joining AEI in 2013, she has performed, reviewed, or managed over 7,500 reports throughout the United States, and has overseen portfolio sizes of 165+ sites. Services within AEI’s Zoning Division include Zoning Analysis Reports (ZARs) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Permits and Approvals Reports, as well as limited-scope zoning due diligence services. Emily is accustomed to all aspects of zoning due diligence assessments and the needs and requirements of a variety of reporting standards including: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and customized client formats.
In addition to her technical role, Ms. Currie serves as AEI’s Regional Director for New England. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) – Boston Chapter.
