Holly Neber

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Holly guides AEI’s culture and strategic plan, and is passionate about serving AEI’s staff of employee owners and the community of clients, consultants and vendors who support our growth and success. Holly represents AEI in the industry and frequently provides training on environmental due diligence, climate risk evaluations, and leadership. Holly has worked in environmental consulting since 1996, serving with AEI since 1999, initially in a Project Manager role. Ms. Neber is currently Chair of Task Group WK62996 Property Resilience Standard within ASTM International’s ASTM E06 Performance of Buildings. Ms. Neber served as the 2019 President of CREW Network and is a Past President of the National Engineering and Environmental Due Diligence Association (NEEDDA) and past Board Member of the Real Estate Roundtable. She currently serves on the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) Sustainability Steering Committee, Berkeley Fisher Center for Real Estate Policy Advisory Board (PAB), and is an affiliate member of the Environmental Bankers Association (EBA). Honors and recognition include: RealShare’s California Women of Influence, Bisnow’s Bay Area Power Women, Real Estate Forum Women of Influence, Connect Media Women in Real Estate, Courage in Leadership Award, The Registry’s Elevate Award for Industry Impact, and Globe Street Best Bosses. Holly is a frequent presenter including for organizations such as CREW Network, Moody’s, Environmental Bankers Association, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, and the Urban Land Institute.
