As the Executive Vice President and lead for AEI’s Site Mitigation and Remediation Division, Karla is charged with the continuous development and integration of AEI’s Site Mitigation’s Divisional strategies, technical prowess, processes and quality initiatives to align the Division’s practices and personnel to exceed our client’s expectations and goals for their projects. Karla is a licensed Professional Geologist with more than 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting field. As part of her duties Karla oversees, coordinates and provides technical lead responsibilities for all phases of environmental assessment, mitigation and remediation including, but not limited, subsurface investigations, soil, groundwater and soil vapor remediation, risk assessments, vapor intrusion assessments, environmental cost risk analyses, regulatory interaction and expert witness testimony. Awarded Real Estate Forum/GlobeSt Top CRE Women of Influence honor in 2019.  Karla holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geology and a Master’s of Business Administration.
