Design of a Corrective Action or Remedial Action Plan (RAP) for a site, incorporates all assessment data and prior experience in remedial investigations and feasibility tests.
The RAP contains risk based cleanup levels negotiated with the regulator, and contains all of the information necessary to construct and operate the remediation system. The RAP also provides detailed procedures for monitoring the progress of cleanup and criteria for recommending closure. Upon approval of the RAP, the system is installed and operated until cleanup levels are met, or it can be demonstrated that the point of diminishing returns is reached.
AEI is very cognizant of the need to maximize the value of client dollars spent on remediation. AEI’s track record includes numerous release sites that have gained case closure through the implementation of cost-effective remediation methods.
