Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies (RI/FS) both follow the preliminary site investigation and are conducted concurrently. The primary purpose of an RI is to determine the nature and the extent of the contamination and to establish whether it poses public health and environmental threats.
The primary purpose of the FS is to assess the cost of the necessary treatment and to evaluate cost-effective alternative actions of remediation for the contaminants of concern. These studies allow our clients to make informed decisions and practical approaches regarding site cleanup.
