Mr. Millar has 20 years of broad experience in commercial real estate. He has experience in all phases of engineering and construction principles, practices and management. He is responsible for the development and management of AEI’s Building Assessment Division. He has demonstrated success integrating project management skills with risk recognition and liability management. He has technically assessed real estate assets valued in excess of $60 billion throughout the US, Caribbean, and Western Europe. He possesses strong technical and business qualifications. He has personally performed site project status reports, budget analysis, plan reviews, contract reviews, zoning reviews, permit reviews and processed requisition for payments. Throughout his career, he has personally performed 2,000+ Property Condition Assessments throughout North America used by Community Banks, Regional Banks, Commercial Banks, CMBS Conduits, and REIT Lenders; as well as for Underwriting/Securitization and/or Conduit and Mezzanine Loan Programs. Peter holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering, San Jose State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the School of Law, Pace University Professional Engineer (PE) State of California Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Peter is presently the Education Chairperson for the MBA of New York.
