Nathan Sorensen

Mr. Sorensen serves as Executive Vice President of Strategic Accounts where he works closely with the sales, operations and technical teams to deepen client engagement and drive strategic account growth. Mr. Sorensen has over 18 years of experience directly involved in commercial property due diligence and risk management supporting lenders, investors, occupiers, and developers. His key areas of expertise include environmental assessments, building assessments, construction risk management, and energy studies.

In his previous position with CBRE | Turner & Townsend, Mr. Sorensen lead the Construction Risk Services division. Previously at CBRE, he created and directed the strategic account program within the Assessment & Consulting Services division. Within this role, Mr. Sorensen’s focus was to develop and manage client leadership teams supporting due diligence and property risk management services for CBRE’s strategic clients in order to provide customized, exceptional outcomes. In addition, he was responsible for developing and maintaining high-level strategic partnerships with these clients while aligning with leadership across CBRE business lines to support the client’s business objectives.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Sorensen was the National Director of the Commercial Real Estate Market for Atlas Technical Consultants where he led the growth strategy for commercial real estate sector. His role was focused on expanding the company position within the commercial real estate market through client development and engagement across the four main service areas of Testing Inspection & Certification, Environmental Solutions, Engineering & Design, and Program, Construction & Quality Management.

Mr. Sorensen’s experience with national and international investors and lenders lends to a strong understanding of clients’ needs and ability to provide the most effective solutions to meet those needs.
